Welcome from our principal
Lakeside School, located in Lake Macquarie supports students K-12 with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Our motto is ‘Educating today for tomorrow’s living.’ We are committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive and collaborative school culture, dedicated to empowering the whole school through delivery of individualised, innovative and fun learning programs. This culture creates lifelong learners with opportunities to enhance active community engagement.
Our dedicated staff work in partnership with families and the community to ensure every student experiences success and develops the skills, confidence, and character needed for life beyond school. We are proud of our strong sense of belonging and the positive culture that defines our school. Together, we make Lakeside a place where learning comes to life every day.
