Transition
Lakeside School is a K-12 setting and all students in years 10-12 have an Individual Transition Plan meeting in Semester One, with a mandatory Transition Goal. Transition planning begins at this point and Transition visits occur in Year 11, with the goal being that an appropriate placement at a service provider is planned by the completion of Year 12. School staff also support parents and carers with the NDIS and the school receives advice and guidance from the Support Teacher Transition.
